Family Portal

The Family Portal is a site that allows parents access to current information about their student's progress and performance. PCS has it set up so that parents of students that attend Pelham Park Middle School or Pelham High School will receive weekly emailed progress reports.

  1. You should receive an email notification stating you have been given access to your student's account. Click the link in the email to begin the registration process. You will also need the activation code for your student's account. Please see below who to contact to receive your account activation code.

    • Student attends PPMS --> contact Ms. Melton amelton@pelhamcityschools.org

    • Student attends PHS --> contact a counselor

IF you have misplaced the email or never received it, you can go directly to https://learn.edgenuity.com/family.

2. Once you have clicked the link in the email from Edgenuity OR used the link above, click on ACTIVATE ACCOUNT.

**DO NOT fill out the email and password boxes, just click ACTIVATE ACCOUNT.

3. Enter your email address and the activation code provided by the 4th period teacher (PPMS) or counselor (PHS), then click CONTINUE.

4. Determine a password and recovery question for the account. The security question and answer will help recover the account in case it gets locked. Click CONTINUE.

5. Once activated, you can log in using the email address and newly created password. The link is https://learn.edgenuity.com/family. Click LOG IN.

6. Select the Timezone. Click SAVE.

7. Upon log in, you can view basic information about the student, as well as information explaining the different reports available.

If you have more than one student you will need to request an activation code for each child and repeat the steps on this page. A password will only need to be created with the first child, any child thereafter, creating a password will not be required. Once the additional student(s) has been added, you can toggle between them using the SELECT STUDENT feature on the top right of the portal page.

Understanding the Family Portal Progress Report

Within the Family Portal, a parent/guardian will see the student's progress on the progress report. At the top of the report, you’ll find the Name of the Course, as well as the course start and target dates. The target date is the date by which all coursework must be completed.

Course Completed


Overall Grade

In the Course Completed section, you’ll find the following information:

  • Course Completed percentage: This number indicates what percentage of the course your student has completed, working toward the goal of 100% completion.

  • Color-coded completion squares: The colors in the square blocks represent your student’s progress:

    • Red indicates your student is falling behind.

    • Blue indicates your student is on track.

    • Green indicates your student is ahead of schedule.

  • Target Completion: This indicates how far along in the course your student should be.

This site will continuously be updated as changes occur in platform functionality and as parents needs change based on the tools used by the district. Check this page often for any updates that have been posted. This site serves to support teachers, students, and families of Pelham City Schools.
